The world faces unprecedented risks and the threat of irreversible damage due to soaring levels of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Our planet is experiencing harsher environmental conditions, marked by record-breaking occurrences and the alarming scale of disasters such as floods and heatwaves. 2024 was the warmest year on record, with global temperatures reaching 1.55°C above the pre-industrial level average, continuing the trend of extreme warming. The climate crisis is expected to cost the global economy as much as USD 12.5 trillion in economic losses worldwide by 2025. Against this background, the Indonesia International Sustainability Forum (ISF) is established as a platform to foster collaborations and best practice sharing across stakeholders in energy, food, and water resilience, ultimately advancing the global concerted effort in pursuing a sustainable growth through investment.
